This book collects a years worth of writings on philosophy, originally published at onphilosophy.wordpress.com, as well as commentary on them. Topics covered include epistemology, ethics, language, logic, the meaning of life, the mind, politics, society, and, of course, the practice of philosophy itself. Since this represents my earliest philosophical work the pieces contained within aren't all gems (although there are a few, in my not-so-humble opinion), but the purpose of this book is not to present the unquestionable and final answers to philosophical questions. Rather the purpose of this book is to collect what I have written simply so that it is easier to reflect upon it, to critically examine it as a whole, and hopefully to improve upon it.
