Description:

Investigating an apparent suicide, the Sheriff of a rural county in Mississippi stumbles on a huge illegal drug operation, a serial killer, and just maybe the girl of his dreams. With the help of a pyromaniac, a couple of transvestite hit-men and some redneck friends this cold trail turns red hot. Follow the trail of bullets, bombs and truckstop waitresses, and you'll laugh all the way to the funeral. PAGEONELIT.COM: said, "COLD TRAIL" is great -- !! I was laughing before I finished the first page -- You remind me of one of my favorite authors Carl Hiaasen --.... "COLD TRAIL" is a well written thought provoking and funny book -- Each and every page is a grin --."

I don't know when I've had so much fun. This book is captivating and the author makes it all so real, even in some bizarre situations, that I felt like I was there. The characters were marvelous. The bad guys were really bad and the good guys were not so good sometimes but you just have to love them anyway. I was disappointed that it had to come to an end and I am craving the next installment.

I am an avid reader from history to fiction, I started this book for fun and could not put it down. The authors discription of the characters and places were so real, that you actually thought you knew these people and have been to these places before. It was funny, riviting, intriging rolled into one. Great read and can't wait for the next one.
