This is a How-to manual on setting up a backup server for clients over a restricted (dmz) network. This is for use with the Fedora or Other Linux Distributions Operating Systems. It will set up and configure a server to act as a backup server for a network of clients. All you need are the OS discs and this file, and you can set up a client/backup server for your company, even over a quarantined network. This manual comes complete with working examples, and customizable scripts. For internal backups, I have also written a how-to for an Amanda Backup Server and two Linux kickstart files.
