Please note: This service is for books that already have an ISBN and a distribution plan only. BDDesign is not a distributor, and therefore cannot sell you an ISBN nor create bookstore listings for you. We only enhance listings once they are created.

For the author who wishes to have more than just the basic listing (cover and description) on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, or doesn't want to wait for Amazon and Barnes & Noble to post their basic listings (sometimes it takes weeks for them to add the cover and/or description on their own). Service also includes submissions to Booksamillion.com and Borderstores.com.

With this service I will:

• Update current listings on Amazon, Amazon CA, Amazon UK, Barnes & Noble, Booksamillion, and Borders, or submit additional information such as: author bio, table of contents, excerpt, and book reviews (from noted review sources only) to Amazon and Barnes & Noble (Booksamillion and Borders currently does not utilize such additional information in their listings.
• Advise you on how to improve your book's description (when necessary) in order to maximize its effectiveness in grabbing a customer's attention, and making sure the description contains enough keywords to improve your book's chances of being categorized properly.
  
  Please note: When writing descriptions, an author should always consider the book's target audience, and think of descriptive words which best apply to the genres/subjects related to your book.
• Help you to apply for additional category listings at Amazon, Amazon CA, Amazon UK, Barnes & Noble, Booksamillion, and Borders. Authors are expected to give this some thought ahead of time, and even do some research at the various stores, if possible, to aid me in this. The author knows his or her book better than anyone else, after all.
  
  Please note: Each site makes its own arbitrary decisions as to granting equested categories. No application is guaranteed, however, the more targeted your book's description, the better your application chances are.
• Submit book's information to BookSense.com, the e-commerce arm of the American Booksellers Association's BookSense program, which will make your book's listing available to a family of independent-booksellers across the US, a market that is much more open to independent and small press books.
• Add your book to an Amazon.com, Amazon CA, Amazon UK, Listmania list appropriate to your book's subject matter. This also aids in your book's visibility on Amazon, as this list may appear within the listing with any number of other, subject related books of varied popularity.

Upon purchase of my services, I will email you a form listing the various information I need from you. As you will see, some of these items are optional. I will work with you on the description when warranted, and then send appropriate information to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Booksamillion, Borders and BookSense.

Please note: Before I can perform my services, your book must appear in each store's online catalog. It may take from 3 to 10 weeks after you approve your book for Global distribution before your book appears on these sites. On average, it takes between 3 to 6 weeks. Once I submit your info, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for each store to upload submitted information (it varies). If your book's information does not appear within a reasonable time frame after submission, I will resubmit as necessary.

I reserve the right to refuse any project I feel is incompatible with my personal beliefs, or that I simply am unable to accept due to time constraints.
