It is crammed with action from the start and keeps a fast pace from page to page until sadly, it ends.
I loved Jack's dry humour and attitude, and absolutely adored Antoinette. While its intriguing explanations of current myths and illusions are particularly well done.
Wonderful in every sense. I'm certainly a fan and look forward to more...

Some works become cumbersome and predictable after the first scene. I'm glad to say that this is not the case here. I actually found it fun to try and figure out where things were going and happy when I couldn't.
This is a great book and I highly recommend it.
This is about the above book (written by me).
If you like space travel, magic, big monsters, not exactly scientificaly accurate science, first person narrations, journeys into otherworldly... worlds, or even just hearing about someone with worse luck than you, you might enjoy it! yes, seriously, it does have all those! And if you like war... well, you're twisted, but that's in here too!
It's a fun little story, which I'm afraid to say had me a little on edge when I dug it back out of my old, cobwebby files, and nobody who's read it has given me a negative response yet, no matter how much I beg them to. Problem with nice people is you never know whether they're being honest or not.
And if you're a publisher person, there are sequels in motion if you want to publish them for me!
