The book arrived a few days ago in mint condition; this was my first order from Lulu and I was impressed. Ribcage is very smart in appearance, sharp and pleasing, well thought out and designed, inviting to read. I put it on my coffee table and three people picked it up the first day. The fiction is easy to digest, small literary nuggets carefully placed on the pages, you can snack or feast on these tales and feel satisfied either way. A nifty book, which, by the way, I paid the old full price for and still think it's worth every penny. Nice job. Congratulations.

A really good work of fiction can be a mind-expanding, life-altering experience. I remember first reading Charles Baxter’s collection of short stories, Through the Safety Net, and how utterly cosmic it all felt. The fiction universe had opened up suddenly before me. I felt like astronaut Dave Bowman at the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey, rushing through a celestial light show, my mind too small to comprehend the vastness but compelled to evolve nonetheless.
And that’s the way I feel when I read Christian Stella’s writing. It’s very hard to pull off a good short short or flash fiction piece. Stella consistently delivers not just goodness, but greatness.

I am in love with these stories. I was introduced to ribcage writing through the friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend chain, and have been reading them since the very beginning of Ribcage (most certainly looking forward to wednesdays.) To any new customer who stumbles across this clever and remarkable book - buy it, tell your friends about it- you won't regret it!
