Description:

This is a biography about my Mother, Ruth Inez Brewer (Lemons). It contains all sorts of interesting anecdotes about my Mother and her life with a professional entertainer. This book is a must read for all family members and anyone interested in life from the early 1900s to present. Editing began March 10, 1996. 10,296 words, 277 paragraphs, 1,877 lines, and 67 pages later, editing ended. There are close to fifty (50) color photographs in the book, all inserted where the photographs are being discussed. The book is professionally bound using saddle stitch; interior paper is 80# with full color (CMYK) interior ink; the exterior pages are 100# full, deep, rich color. And, for those who may wonder about such things, to keep the cost as low as possible, I have taken zero (0) royalty for sales from this book. After all, it was written in love for my Mom, not for profit. Color printing is expensive for those who may not have an understanding of such matters

I can't begin to say how I enjoyed reading this book. It is a fine tribute. Her life was full of exciting things that happened. I felt like I was reading a manuscript for a Hollywood movie and Jessica Tandy was playing her. Her childhood, the school stories, the tornado, her life with
her husband, all her wonderful children and how they care for her so much. She is truly a remarkable woman and appreciates everything done for her. Her story truly touched my heart and I was sorry when I finished the book, I wanted to read more about her.

This is an excellent book! It gave some great insight into how the the individual, who is the subject of this book, lived. Photos were great. Adding them to the content where they were being discussed added to my understanding and enjoyment of the content.
