REVIEWS

"Scintillating, titillating, engrossing until the last sentence. Only Kim Steele can, in a few short sentences, draw you into the creepy world of Steve, who is part vampire and part serial killer. Just when you think it can't get any nastier or more bleak, she turns the tables with an amazing ending that will shock the hell out of you." --Dave McGraw, ScaryHarry.net

"Steele is an expert in creating humanistic characters that you love to hate; a genius of the macabre who is at her best when writing direct, satisfying pieces like this one. This is a story that will haunt you for days." --Kelleigh Barclay, Literature Critic

I have to admit this is pretty damn cool for Kimberly to have done. I got a copy of this from her personally when I brought her with me on Gothicfest 2005 as my personal guest. I had a copy and a close friend of hers who is currently my room mate has one too. Her copy of Forever Fifteen got lost when her house was damnaged from Black Mold, and Michelle told me both my copy of Collectives I originally gave her and Kimberly's novel both suffered damage from the accident (Kimberly if you have an extra copy for her that would be cool.) When I listened to this one and I have to say I am very impressed with Ms. Steele and her ability as a story teller. Screw the guy who gave this a single star.      Kimberly brought me in with the story she wrote and appears in the second Tabloid Purposes, and I went back to read it now and it still brings me in. Kimberly penned some stories that will stand the test of time for her territory of horror, because it doesn't feel like erotic horror when she writes it.

This story is fantastic! It is easy to follow but the characters are brutally and honestly portrayed. You do a great job describing the sexual relationship of the characters without sounding like a romance novel.
