Far Point [ No Rating ] 20 Dec 2007
It's great to see a writer compelled to include a theme involving power plant engineering and life of a consulting engineer into his story line! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book Far Point. Keep up the great work David!

It takes considerable nerve and no little skill to turn major project engineering into a thriller that will catch the imagination of readers, no matter what their own background may be. For business power politics fans, too, this should definitely be on the list. Lindlsey has now added award winning fiction writer to his established reputation as an international engineer.
Far Point [ No Rating ] 28 Nov 2005
David Lindsley's book, Far Point, is a page-turner. It is a suspenseful mix of high-tech engineering, career-destroying rivalries, and interpersonal relations. The combination works well and David does a good job of describing the technical details in layman's terms while keeping the storyline interesting. The reader will instantly take a liking to some characters...and instantly take a loathing to others. The mix of interesting personalities and the sometimes tragic situations in which they find themselves creates an atmosphere of suspense and keeps the reader hoping that Dan Foster will prevail. Although the story is fictional, the circumstances and the characters seem very real, and the consequences of a malfunction could truly have global implications. The book will make you appreciate all that is behind what powers your reading lamp you switch on without a second thought.
