Avie Burkhardt is having a problem. He doesn't know what he's here on Earth for. All he know is there's a strong feeling that SOMETHING is passing him by. So he asks God to show him what he's supposed to be doing. He didn't count on getting an Angel to tell him! And he certainly didn't think he'd be able to do what She told him to do. Kicking and screaming, he's led to his life's work - and work it is. Avie labors for three long years, by himself, building something only God in all His Wisdom could have thought up. And at long last he finishes it, only to find it's lacking its major feature. Once again, the Angel steps in, and Avie manages to finish it. Forrest Landry's writing is framed in the recognition of God within us, and observes how Man can communicate with God at all times. Rated PG.
