The book is structured as a workbook with excercises for a beginner studying the Deseret Alphabet.
The symbols used to create the alphabet are not the same as the english alphabet. There is not a guide on how you are to create the letters but just what the end result is supposed to look like in print.
I found the notes(references) to be the most useful. The history of the alphabet is clearly and simply explained. The print size is very large and all sentences are double spaced.
