I love how this novel takes you on a leisurely stroll through Ohio history and lets you relax through the pages, and then before you know it, you're totally caught up and jumping at shadows. The subtlety and lack of today's excuse for horror give the book a rare and exciting feel. I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up! Way to go John!
Great reading. A true page turner. I was quickly caught up in the suspense of the story and the fabulous use of Ohio history. If you find Lovecraftish writings to be your likings you will want to add this to your collection. It has truly earned a coveted space on my bookshelf. Just one thing.....when will there be more writings from O'Connor??????????????
