At this time in history, man is discovering that he is greater than limited ideas presented by his or her immediate culture. Eventually, man seeks a concept that is all-inclusive and that allows for one to feel connected to all people, creatures, cultures, music, ways of expression, and the cosmos as a whole. The Upanishads, Holy Books of India, tell us that "all this is OM". So, as we chant OM, we connect with all life and all aspects of the cosmos. OM is the veritable way to happiness, contentment, and perfect oneness with life itself.

Another point I would like to add is that this book's goal is to show that there "is" a way for the differences in the world's theological systems to find a reconciliation and common ground. Keith Johnson, the author, has done a fine job in explaining how this works. Namaste.
