I am pregnant with my first baby, and I have found few books that have been more helpful, more inspiring and fun to read than "Between Lullabies and Diapers".
The author is candid, in-your-face and obviously knows what she's talking about. It is good to hear, for a change, that it's O.K. if you don't always feel great about your new acquired task.
Yes, to become a mom is indeed one of the most wonderful things that will ever happened to you even if everyday you don't exactly feel like screaming for joy.
I highly recommend it.

Real, uncensored, funny and insightful "Between Lullabies and Diapers" is all this and more. If you are a new mommy, a soon-to-be mommy or an experienced mommy you will love reading this book.
In "Between Lullabies and Diapers" the author, Dinorah Blackman-Williams, shares:
-her own experiences of nine months of terrible morning, or rather all-day, sickness (who knew this was even possible)

-dealing with miscarriage
-potty training (the good, the bad and the ugly)
-getting Daddy involved (it is possible)
-and coming to the awesome realization that motherhood is the world' most important job.
Guaranteed you'll laugh, cry, sigh, and mhmmm all in one sitting. This book makes a great gift for all types of mommies.

I am not yet a mother, and a lot like the author I feel like I have so much to accomplish before thinking about motherhood. I can however, relate to the author when she mentions the pressure from society to hurry up and have a child. After reading this preview I did come to realize that no matter how hard you try to be the "perfect" parent you will never accomplish it. You will learn by each of your own experiences how to become the best parent you can.
I believe this book brings together the two most important aspects in raising a child. The belief in God and the belief in yourself.
