When recalling my childhood and youth I found that the memories flooding my mind had qualities of the mysterious and questionable. Other memories and other pieces, like spectres of a puzzle, surfaced to tease and it was a God Almighty business to decide what was real and what was a myth. I found it impossible to do this consciously. Eventually I decided to be heart-led and I can say in all honesty that my story comes from the heart.
