She has told the story of SWBB as it was , and as it is.
A remarkable record of dedication and determination against all odds in a very competitive and at times confusing world.

There is no exaggeration, it was my roof they climbed on, the trip to the water tower was hilarious and scary but never to be forgotten. So much experience was gained in just a few months
and put into service, the customer base just grew as we had faith in the founders, Tom , Helen, Roy. This is a book to inspire and encourage community groups or individuals to have a go. You can do it. Well done Linsey

haha, simple mistake - I reviewed the book while Lins was logged in on my computer. Will just have to jfdi2. She had to use my computer to upload the book cover simply because she has no broadband connection of her own, there are no groups like wennet or SWBB in her area who have built their own network, and Lins has been too busy helping others to build her own. I stand by my review of the book, it is brilliant, a great tribute to the many people involved and a credit to a wonderful writer who can put all our thoughts and feelings into words. Power to the people. chris

This is an amazing book about a team of dedicated people bridging the digital divide on a day to day basis, fighting against the flood barrier of congested exchanges, greedy telcos and blinkered government. Their commitment to the project has been a learning curve, and they have generously shared their knowledge with many others. Our group would not have built a community network without their help and encouragement
