Description:

The Perfect Survival Garden Consider the following: It takes no power equipment or hand tools to build or maintain. (you don’t even need a hoe) Very low maintainance. (Build it, plant, water and pick it) Small area (4’ X 16’) can feed 2 people all year in most areas. (yes even in the winter) Produces abundant plants with very high nutrition and taste. Rapid return on investment. Beds should pay for themselves at least twice the first year. Can be self sustaining with proper use of compost.

I met Len at the Missouri Annual Spring Planting Festival at Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Show. Awesome Product & Book, shows you everything you need to know about building his bed system, supporting the plants, material & quantity lists, and a large number of garden type layouts like the English Garden 4, my wifes favorite. Watering & Feeding, & his garden formula mixture that took him 20 years to develop. Nice genuine guy just wanting to help his kids & friends as food prices go through the roof, because, in my opinion, of the continual 2-6% yearly decline of available supply of oil. I'm in the oil industry I know.

A very straight-forward approach to sustainable gardening using a very unique bed design and growing mixture. Many recommendations have come my way about this approach and I can't wait to build my own garden using Len's technique. Thanks, Len, for the great plan! I can't wait to taste my first vegetables.
