I wrote this review after listening to the song, but I didn't know how it was recorded...
There's something about this song I can't put my finger on. It seems to be a good songwriting effort, played well, recorded well, but it's missing something. I think it's the clash between the lyrics: "...no slowing down, we're in party town...", and the vocal attitude, which sounds a bit too relaxed for the words. Perhaps with a little more edge, perhaps a bit faster, like if this was played live, it would really click with me. I do like the bluesy style though, good guitar work, good harmonica towards the end. It sounds like a good band on a slow night, but it's worth a listen.
...now I realize it was tracked using the internet and not live, I understand where it comes from. If you guys got together and played it live, I bet it would rock.

When was the last time a DJ ever created anything anyway! I thought it was good, especially because it was a collaboration over the net and you guys are probably hundreds if not thousands of miles apart. Keep it up.. the music I mean!
As a radio DJ I can tell you don't give up your day job!!! Even for a private label it needs alot of work..
