Description:The Unplugged project provides teachers with a series of off-line activities designed to let people of all ages have fun exploring some of the interesting ideas in computer science, without having to use a computer at all! These activities are suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, but especially for elementary school children. This 232-page book includes photocopy masters and detailed explanations. There are currently two versions of the book. The one on this page is the "Original" version (blue cover), which is aimed primarily at readers with a more technical interest. It has more activities (20 in total) but fewer illustrations and classroom handouts. The "Teachers' Edition" is aimed at people with less of a technical background. It has 12 activities, and a lot more illustrations and photocopiable handouts. We recommend that you preview the two books to decide which is most suitable for you. Keywords:Listed in: |
