The theme for these devotions is Search the Scriptures. Jesus speaks these very words in connection with the truth that the Scriptures, specifically the Old Testament, bear witness to Him (John 5:39). In Luke 24:44, our Lord tells His disciples that the things written of Him in Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled. This first volume has 365 devotions from the first day of Advent through the last week of the Church year. It covers the events leading up to the Birth of the Savior in Bethlehem. Then we follow Christ as He sets out on His earthly ministry. This first volume ends with Jesus giving sight to the man born blind.
