Jesse Pohlman has proved himself for years to be a writer deserving of both respect an admiration. In this book, he takes a common genre such as Fantasy and melds it perfectly with Science Fiction, somehow creating a bond between futuristic technology and old world swords-and-shield warfare.

By redefining what it actually is to exist in a world of magic, Jesse Pohlman has created what may be one of the most epic tales to surface in the literature world during this age, and there is no limit to just how incredible his stories may become in the future.

Mr. Pohlman has wonderful potential when it comes to writing. His ability to create such an enticing world as Emor is an evident aspect proving his writing is something to be read. This book offers a new glimpse into the ordinary science-fiction novel and I'm certain anyone who takes a look will agree.

a book of the brutal honesty of humans in crisis, battle, love, and a world of magic. the characters are never inhuman as they face enemys and challenges even their relm of the unusual arts cannot prepair them for. when they bleed, they yell "oh shit". its refreshing. this book also never leaves you needing a comic relief, but never shoves in comedy where it will be out of place. definatly an original spin on a classic genre.
