Why did California schools ban this book? [ No Rating ] 17 Dec 2006 (updated 17 Dec 2006)
The most HILARIOUS book I've read in years! In Bachelor 2000, Fitzgerald, a whimsical 21st century bachelor, takes the reader along with him on his Hollywood adventures and shares the hilarious way he sees every day life. Flooded with friendly admonitions and advice, this modern day sage finds something funny wherever he is and an important lesson behind every laugh. You're gonna love Bachelor 2000. Fitzgerald is a funny guy and a gifted wordsmith (a rare comedic combo). Imbedded within the journey of hilarity is a new moral code for the 21st century male: one that challenges the prevailing Hollywood culture and its icons. What's more, after reading this book you can't help but see all of life in a different funny kind of way. Watch out Dave Barry.

"FOUR STARS (Highest Rating). Literally laugh-out-loud, spitting-out-your-drink hilarious. A real discovery, offbeat and utterly original. A master humorist of the highest order, Fitzgerald is The Next Big Thing. I can't wait to see what he does next." -- Todd David Schwartz, CBS

Fun book! I never got bored. Fitzgerald is a fun-loving guy, and you get feeling it took some discipline to get where he is. I can't say there are a lot of valuable tips in the book and perhaps there weren't meant to be. You feel you get to know him (or someone) though. Anyway, I liked it.
