Description:

James finds that life and love are much more deep and complex than he once had thought. In fact they are much more deep and complex than he even thought he thought. Life can be so beautifully tragic and turn and be so painfully comic. But it never stops. It just keeps moving ahead, winding about, keeping it's pace and time. Meander is about what to do with life and it is about what to do with death.

A Huge Story (are 5 stars the max rating...I give it a 7) [ No Rating ] 8 Nov 2005 (updated 8 Nov 2005)
I really like the way Mosbey gives a first hand account of James' reality. The story is meandering through the lives of some really interesting people and Mosbey delivers clever, witty and transparent insight to each one. I found it hard to put down and I also found myself really thinking about the story when I wasn't reading it. It made me appreciate how our lives are intermingled with everyone we meet. There was an element of deep sorrow, yet somehow, there is also great hope. A wonderful book. I recommend it highly!

I really liked this book. From page one I wanted to keep reading. For not being a long book, I really got into it. It is an easy read, but there is something deep about it. Although the story is somewhat sad, it is still enjoyable, and doesn't make you feel depressed the way other stories dealing with death can. I highly recommend this book.
