Description:Parisians do not believe that works of art ought to be confined to museums. Here is an unusual bit of modern mechanical art - a curious water clock displayed in one of the side passages off Champs Elysees. The clock shows time via a column of water that rises with each drop (dispensed every second), and then drains completely every twelve hours. The outlines of various tubes and vessels containing water are highlighted with thin neon tubes. Listed in: |
