The 2008 Haitian History Calendar highlights key historical dates of Haitian History. It also lists the titles found on Jafrikayiti's first three Haitian History CDs of the Series "LAFIMEN: Listwa Pèp Ayisyen Depi nan Ginen" (Narrated in Excellent Kreyol).
The title Lafimen refers to a metaphor the author uses to describe the power of Haitian History which he begins, not with the lost Spanish genocider, but with the very beginning...in Africa, where the Haitian people come from. Thus, Dessalines stands hand in hand with Osiris.
