This book joins Voyage of the Heartworm and Crash of the Warbird as english reading material in the Fiji Island public school system.
In this the third adventure, Scott finds himself stranded on a small island which is an active volcano with one container from a container ship.
He builds a raft and sets out to find his way home. In his journey, he meets the last survivor of a pirate community and learns of the pirate treasure.
He continues his journey only to be ravaged and almost killed by whales, a cyclone, and sharks before being rescued by Fijian fisherman.
Nursed back to health, Scott marries his sweetheart and then returns to the islands for the pirate treasure aboard a giant drua. The final battle of the book is with a giant white whale.
It is a fantasy action adventure written for the young person who enjoys action, as well as adventure
