I wandered in a state akin to drunken delight through the lanscape of this amazing translation in the Friulan; the artistry of the work seduced me entirely, consuming my being in a magic tide of fantastical depiction as powerful as a tsunami that sweeps one up and deposits him far far away; what a wondrous adventure! Without my knowledge, and repeatedly throughout what has clearly proven to have been an absolute seduction of sense and sensibility, I was finally deposited on a distant shore exhausted and spent from what in hindsight has proven an emotional abduction of the highest degree; I laughed, cried, cursed, and prayed, all the while trapped within a kaleidescope of feeling. This brave and delighful translation in a latinate lingua pura should not be denied to anyone brave enough to be swept away. Dante sleeps tonight!
