Description:

The Shadow of Yesterday is a pulpy, sweaty role-playing game set in a fantasy world climbing back from an apocalypse. It is highly focused on creating strong stories about love and adventure, featuring player-empowering mechanics. This is a revised edition of the game, with new mechanics and clearer guidelines.

This is one of the finest games to come out in the past several years. It is ideal for Sword and Sorcerery gaming in the vein of Conan, Bran Mak Morn, and even my favorite sword swinging Puritan, Solomon Kane. The authors of the 20s and 30s would be proud of this game as a worthy successor.
