I think I liked War Is Hell best so far. It ties the other three books together quite well. Star meets the woman and that surprised me. When she turned out to be the computer being I was really surprised. The enfield crowd gets what it deserves. Ignoring those worlds and leving all those people to suffer is no way to run a business.
The length of the book was about right but is sure did pcak a powerful punch, tying up so many loose ends. Loved it. Mark.

I believe that to be true. Since I have served I can vouch for it.
When Star met the woman I was a little surprised. When he found out what she was I was shocked but I guess a man several thousand years old would love to find a companion that wouldn't die on him every few years.
Anyhow, I loved the book. Still trying to get a handle on all the things this One character can do.

Yes it is the way Star fights it. What a man. But the woman he meets is a real piece of work. He must have really loved Nova to keep thinking about her after meeting the woman in this book. If only such things really existed, but then, this is Science Fiction.
