As in the original book The Great Profit of the doG is once again on a quest for knowledge. Through her encounters with several beings along the way, and from the experiences of her traveling companions, in sometimes subtle ways she discovers that possibly she had the answer to her quest all along but simply could not recognize that which she carried within her. In this book, The Great Profit of the doG continues her search for meanings but on this journey she searches for the answer to an elusive question... Keywords:Listed in: |

May I say first of all that it is not necessary to read the first book in order to understand and appreciate the second book. But read both and treat yourself to a wonderful journey. Jo's books have a unique way of explaining many life lessons to us all in a way which adds a wonderfully storyline along the way. Perhaps the greatest lesson in her current book is the issue of dealing with loss, whether a pet as many of us have, or a loved person, as well. Jo takes me on a trip which at times seems surreal or mystical which keeps us wanting more and then the solution not only satisfies but teaches. The book is a joy and a short read and opens your mind up to so many thoughts about life and how somehow like Jo has developed such a motivating philosophy of life which she shared with all who take the time to read and enjoy. Reading her background and credentials, it is interesting to see how she has incorporated her credentials into these beautiful life lessons. She has so much to offer.
And please enjoy the wonderful illustrations that Jo does herself. She is an extremely talented woman who uses words and art to convey lessons about life which many of us need reinforced from time to time.
