I recommend this book for any athlete that is serious about improving his strength and speed.
A great read. Short and concise with training programs, but most importantly, information about how your muscles and nervous system work together to generate power.
The author breaks this down into simple terms that most readers should be able to understand. It answers why some bodies can jump higher than others: power and speed. Then provides training programs to evaluate/test, and build power and speed.
Jumping techniques also included.
This book has no nutritional advice. And no detailed recovery advice. Not the end of the world, because nutrition information is very common place, so maybe that's why it wasn't included in this book.
