Naomi Pitre really outdoes herself with her debut novel Broken Vows! With all of the drama and spice, the plot was well put together and the reader is left wanting more. I'll say the character Yvonne Long, in the end, is a much more understanding woman that I think I could ever be. Buy the book and find out why!

I read this book in 2 days..would have been one if I didn't have to work the next day, lol..that says a lot...I love reading books that I don't want to put down and Broken Vows did that for me...There were a lot of twists that I wasn't expecting and often I was like 'wow'...I wish there was just a lil more explanations behind some things, but other than that, this book was a wonderful read...the steamy parts were steamy enuff to make me wanna take a cold shower after reading, lol...can't wait for the next book to come out cuz I want to know more!!

The way Naiomi has developed her plot and characters as well as pulling you into their lifestyle makes you feel as though you know them personally!

Broken Vows by Naiomi Pitre is a wonderful exploration of a Christian marriage tempted by lust. Meet Mr. & Mrs. Long. They are the ideal, church-going couple with grandiose dreams and goals. Mrs. Long does whatever to please her man, and Mr. Long worships the ground she walks on. However, when lust steps in, the two can't fight back their urges to taste the forbidden. Will they let the other women destroy what God has put together?

I enjoyed Naiomi Pitre's novel. It was well written and very realistic. The author did not hold anything back from the candid language to the sensual sex scenes. If you are tired of Christian novels that skate around reality then you are ready for Broken Vows, where nothing is held back.

The author handed me one of her cards while she was in my store two weeks ago. I was impressed by her aggressiveness and confidence. This is what made me go to the site and check out the book. She told me that if I liked E. Lynn Harris and Zane, I would love her work. After reading this novel in four days, I would have to agree with her. Naiomi Pitre writes some very sexy, steamy scenes that make you feel like you need to take a long cold shower! The story line was strong and the characters were realistic. I am waiting for part 2! If possible, I would like to invite the author to attend my book club meeting to speak to my members next month? I know they will love the book because we just finished Nervous by Zane, and we are looking for something hot to read - this fits the bill!

Ok I can't wait until April 8th to talk about the book at the book club meeting. Girl, that book was slamming!! Your book is the only reason my bad ass class got recess so I could get a few minutes at school to read. I was reading at the red light, daycare pickup line, grocery store line - every damn line I had to wait in. Ok, now that I got that off my chest....I would love to see what happens next. A part 2 would be interesting. The wife should still kick that girl's ass for sleeping w/ her man and tripping with her - right after she gives birth - or the baby's mama and wife should become lovers and leave the husband! LOL. Now that would be drama for your ass.

I found myself totally immersed within this story. I couldn't wait to find out what the next plot twist was going to be.

I must admit, I wish that there was a little more character exploration and ex-PLA-nation when it came to motives behind some of the actions of the characters... I would've loved to know why Jamal decided to make his big change, and if there was any guilt behind Yvonne's infidelity - didn't seem like much.

Having said that, it was a definite page turner. I became involved in the characters lives, and wanted to know what happened to them after the last page was read.

I will recommend to friends.

I just want to tell you that I appreciate you telling this story. Not many writers will, because it is a touchy subject. I have known someone who went through a situation similiar to the one Yvonne and Dominic experienced, and I think you captured it perfectly. Thank God someone is not afraid to "go there" and write about something REAL.

It is not your average love story, and it is not predictable in the least. The twists and turns in the plot left me wanting more. Naomi manages to venture into the world of Christianity, marriage, lesbianism, and infidelity all at once.

This is a page turner. I can't wait for the sequel! What happens next?! Congratulations on a true success, Naomi. Don't leave me hanging for long!
