Combatives Masters of the 20th century offers a well substantiated glimpse into normally restricted field. I found it most interesting to learn about the circumstances in which modern military unarmed combat systems had been forged as well as about the biographies of these really incredible personalities who devoted their lifetime to the perfection of their skills.
Combative Masters should be required reading for anybody intersted in Unarmed combat, military history and martial art, since this particular book, represents the true spirit of what a martial art or better a martial science is all about.
The authors must have done an incredible amount of research. Collecting data from all differnt walks of life and differnt continents should not be taken for granted and deserves respect in itself.
I am sure their are further instroctor profiles of great importance which could be added. And I would be happy to see the publishing of a sequel to this stand alone book.
Well done!!!
If you are hell bent on this book please, read it off the shelf first, otherwise you are not missing out on much.
This is a must-have for anyone in the industry or remotely connected to Close Quarters Battle and other Military Combatives.
The research is comprehensive and authentic for as far as anyone can tell. Highly recommended.
