This present commentary, based on the original Greek text of Matthew's Gospel, attempts to recapture this emphasis and focus. By exploring each chapter from the standpoint of its practical application to the life and ministry of the believer, a clear, consistent, and orderly progress is observed. Moving from simple principles to a deeper and more complex understanding of the Christian life, Christ's training of His disciples can be reflected in our lives today. Each chapter of this study explores certain "key" words, words which in the original Greek contain a wealth of insight, in order to unlock the teaching and truths which first century believers used to "turn the world upside down" for Jesus Christ. Among the topics explored are "The Ministry of the King," "The Mysteries of the Kingdom," "Fellowship in the Kingdom," and "The Wisdom of the King."
