The truly bona fide preparation material for the
650-393 exam is available at Testking. There are websites other than Testking which have the study material for
SY0-101 exam. but these websites are not as renowned as Testking. The reason for the popularity of Testking is because of its high quality study material for the
VCP-310 exam.
Will Wingfield has a unique gift for critical care education. He is an amazing teacher.
I have absolutely no doubt that this book will eventually be regarded as the very best critical care review text for paramedics, RNs and emergency medicine residents.

The ACE SAT was the key to my passing the CFRN exam. The questions in this book were extremely challenging! The review and rationales were thorough and gave insight as to why the wrong answers were wrong, but also why you might think they were right. There was enough humor (don't eat sinewy pilots) to keep a flow going. The chapters are separated by body systems and allowed for more study in weaker areas. The review included IABP readings and troubleshooting, invasive pressure monitoring and neonatal/perinatal care, things that aren't usually covered adequately in a non-flight review. The best part was the bold faced test tips. The morning before the exam I simply went over each test tip several times. There were multiple questions on the exam that were directly related to the test tips.
It was excruciatingly painful finding resources and study aides focused on air transport certifications. I could not find a CFRN or FP-C review class in Florida for the past 2 years, I was signed up for 2 separate classes, and both were cancelled for lack of interest. I was forced to do a pure "self study" prep. I know that I got more from this book than I would have from a 1-2 day seminar.

This book was a great help for reviewing for the FP-C exam. The amount of questions and the resources sited are righton target. I would recommend this book to any one preparing for any of the critical care exams or who just want to challenge themselves and their knowledge.
Here's the deal. If you're serious about taking any of these exams you will be hurting yourself by not adding this book to your preparation materials. The sheer volume of questions, broken down by exam sections, provides unmatched practice for these exams. Compeleting the entire book in one session is great for working on your test taking speed and endurance. But that's not all ( I sound like an infomercial here, sorry) the rationales to the answers at the end of every section are chock full of tips and information that not only will help you on the exams but may very well carry over to your clinical practice. Once you have put in your initial preparation I would recommend making this book the capstone. Take the ACESAT first in sections and reviewing answers and rationales after each section. As you feel more comfortable with the questions, your goal should be to take the entire ACESAT in one sitting. Stay alert, be efficient, and minimize your stupid mistakes. time yourself. At the end, review answers and rationales for the questions you got wrong. Repeat this process until you achieve a minimum of 90%. When you finally take the real exam you should proceed through them feeling confident and well prepared. And for those cheap-skates: If you avoid failing the exam the first time, the book will have already paid for itself because taking the exam again will cost you $229-$329. Good Luck.

This book is amazing! There are few study guides out there for the FP-C, CFRN, CEN, and CTRN, and this book makes an excellent addition to "what's out there". The rationales are easy to understand, and presented in a way that sounds like conversation, making the info within more accessible. Excellent work!

This book was worth every cent!! Though you must have the underlying knowledge to use this to your advantage, it is text you will not regret buying. There is nothing else out there that even comes close to this book. I would suggest this book to anyone considering these Cert's or just wanting more knowledge in their respected field.

Thank you Mr. Wingfield for taking the time to put together such a wonderful book. The best study guide that I have had the pleasure of reading. The test taking tips and the rationales at the end of each chapter was wonderful. Kepp up the good work.

Thank you Mr. Wingfield for taking the time to put together such an OUTSTANDING review book. I used this book exclusively this past week for practice test taking prior to taking the FP-C exam today. It provided a solid review for the areas of the test I was already comfortable with and absolutely shored up the gaps in my knowledge for the areas I was weaker in. The test taking tips that were highlighted in each rationale chapter were "especially" valuable.
Erik Glassman, BS, NREMT-P, FP-C, EMT-T
This book has far exceeded my expectations. Every question is broken down in the rationale section to help the reader better understand and prepare for what will be on the examinations. Thanks Will for spending the time on such an invaluable resource.
