I really enjoyed this book. I felt the characters come alive and actually feel like someone I could possibly come across in real life. The story was fast paced so I didn't get lost or bored along the way, unlike some books that just drone on and on with details not pertanant to the scene at hand. The main character, Ella, was provided with flashbacks that made her character seem more relatable. Understanding why she is the adult she is today is fairly clear.
Most books I read, as well as movies that I watch, I am usually able to guess the ending. Mr.Ferrari threw me for a loop with the ending. I can't tell you here how I guessed it would turn out, but I can tell you it didn't unfold the way I thought it would. And that was an enjoyable surprise.
I am very much looking forward to the next novel Mr.Ferrari writes.
