Over the past 25 years, I’ve purchased every book on FLR that didn’t look like the typical jerk off book.
Like many of you, I tried and failed to get my wife interested in a wife led marriage. The disciplinary wives’ club approach did not work for us.
Uniquely Rika helped me better understand me. After 25 years of dreaming about a FLR I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, and how to present it to my wife. Ms. Rika’s approach to introducing this to your mate will work. Now that I am faced with that certainty versus a fantasy, I have to decide if this is something I really.
I initially delayed purchasing due to the cost of the book. Don’t delay buying this book. It is worth it.

Ms. Rika really understands the needs of service subs. I consider myself in this category and love that special connection when you are able to pamper and take care of the needs of a Domme. Where her take differs from other views I’ve encountered is that service should be its own reward. In other words, the reward for a sub who does good service is to be in service in the first place.

An extension of this is her view that scene play and sexual tension (including tease and denial and chastity) are gifts that a Domme can give to a sub but not tied to their primary service in any way. By offering up gifts instead of rewards a Domme avoids creating a "tit for tat" environment where the sub expects some sort of sexual payment for services rendered.

This was actually a really new take for me on the D/s dynamic, but after some reflection I believe it truly is the key to a successful service-based D/s relationship. The pleasure for a sub should come from the act of serving. If not, then you really aren’t a service sub and any long-term relationship built on those principals is bound to fail.

Ms. Rika also points out that every D/s relationship needs a solid vanilla relationship or marriage as a foundation. This can include, in her opinion, the sub initiating sex if that is something pleasing for the Domme. Also, despite her view that scene play and orgasm denial are games gifted for the sake of the sub, Ms. Rika gives some fantastic advice and guidelines for these male-centric sexual activities.

This is the only book I’ve seen that really addresses the realities of forming a long-term D/s relationship and I highly recommend it for any couples who are working toward that goal. It’s also a great read for any service sub as Ms. Rika explains the core concepts of service and what being a service sub really means.

Men,
If you are thinking about asking your wife or girlfriend to take charge of your relationship, read "Unqiuely Rika". Ms. Rika explains some of the pitfalls and mistakes that are commonly made, and how to avoid them. Hint: It's all about "Her". I highly reccomend this book.

Women,
Ms Rika explains some techniques that will drive your man crazy and make him beg for more, if that's what you want. I'm afraid to reccomend this book to my Wife, but I know that I will.

Uniquely Rika is a must read for any person or couple even remotely interested in exploring a D/s relationship. In her usual straight forward style, MsRika shares how to put into practice a practical D/s relationship that will not only enhance your relationship, but make it better than ever.

I have personally followed MsRika's guide to D/s relationships, and my marriage and life are better than ever. She so eloquently brings into clear focus the purpose of the male submissive and the purpose of the Female Dominant. She shares her own experiences and gives clear examples of situations that work and situations that don't.

I have used this book as a study guide with my husband to strengthen our marriage and our D/s dynamic. The tips and advice she gives are simple and very easy to put into practice. Even a "vanilla" couple can take this book and within a short period of time, have a good foundation on which to follow this wonderful way of life.

After reading several D/s books, Uniquely Rika is by far the best I have read. I am recommending it to anyone even remotely interested in Dominance and submission. This book is everything it claims to be and more. It is my hope that this book will break the taboos related to D/s and allow people to see what true lifestyle D/s is all about: Respect, Communication and most of all Love!!
