Just writing you a note to say how much I enjoyed reading your book and getting a wonderfully enjoyable and visual dose of English history in the process. I'm an American writer living here now and much of this is new to me. I do love history and your words have really brought what I'm seeing here in the UK to life.

Kudos on your wonderful e-book and thanks again for a fascinating read. GF currently in the UK

This book was fascinating and should appeal to anyone with an interest in history as well as those with an interest in public houses! Dividing the pub name chapters with more overarching information made for easy reading and set the book in context. The chapter on kings and queens at the end of the book was an informative added bonus with a comprehensive royal family tree for added interest.I would definitely recommend it.
