This book brought out ALL my emotions to the forefront. I'm a big girl and very VERY rare I'll cry, but this book had me in tears cause of "little Giant"David and the love and protection that he felt from Carolina and MacKenzie. I laugh at the way Carolina tell it to Mackenzie and the Love,Joy and Happiness they (Carolina and MacKenzie) have found in each other after long"-soul searching journey. Thank God I don't have to read about Women-Who- Don't-Have-Back-Bone and Men-Who-Treat-Them-As- Door-Mat Novels. Thank you Jeanie and Jayha for this book.

I truly enjoyed this book. Carolina and Mackenzie story was hot and breathtaking to read. I loved it where you infused characters from your other story lines like Victorious, Indy and Reign from the Wild, Wild Atlanta book and I think there was a sneak peak of the otherworldly series that I have been reading about on your website. Just the sense of family, loyalty and just plain love you captured in the story of Caroline, Mackenzie and David.

Some of the stuff going on was hilarious I couldn't stop laughing. And then I had to cry because of David and the love that enfolded him by his new found family. I hope this family story keeps going on like the Duracell Bunny. Yipee!!!

I just did not want this story to end!!!!! I wanted more and the only thing I was disappointed was that it couldn't go on and on. I hope Georgia, Teijana and most important David and Krystal stories are told.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel - way too much. I simply did not want the journey with Carolina and MacKenzie to end and at 500 plus pages, you get more than your money’s worth whether in e-book or hardcopy.



Carolina is the woman we all desire to be and her MacKenzie is the man we all want. As a matter of fact, her entire family is presented in such a manner, you want to be a part of their close-knit circle or at least get invited to the family gatherings.



This novel was excellent from start to finish. Never have I read a single novel such as Leigh and Johnson have presented. Their collaborative effort left me thought-provoked, laughing, crying, crying from laughing, hungry, boiling-mad and let’s not forget, horny!



Buy this book, read this book and recommend to your best friends and even people you don’t like. You’ll be doing them and yourself a huge favor. Toni

This was an incredible read. It's been a while since I have read a book that has you laughing and crying, and at 546 pages, it was still too short. Carolina is a howling mess (and I mean that in a good way) and Mackenzie is just the man to make her howl! There is never a dull moment in the entire book especially when David appears. Then Carolina goes into mother lion mode and woo to anyone who thinks they will hurt her baby. It was great to be introduced to more characters in the lives of Carolina and Mackenzie, and it was a real treat to read more about Samson and Mariana, who is a nut (and I mean that in a good way)! Let's just say the entire extended family is nuts (and I mean that in a good way) but mess with one of them and you are in a whole world of hurt (literally). I don't want to give too much away but this is a "MUST READ" and there is a lot of talk about killing sprees, but they're justified and hilarious, really! I'm already thinking about reading it again. DON'T MISS OUT ON A GREAT READ FOLKS!!!! BY THE WAY, IF YOU HAVEN'T READ "HOT LIKE FIRE", YOU MAY WANT TO READ IT FIRST!

Well, I have to rant a little bit!! The dynamic duo better known and Jeanie and Jayha outdid themselves with this book!! The first book was good but this one was superb....simply superb!! The words came alive for me...I felt like I knew these people and when it was over I was already missing them. I want to be a part of their lives.....Mack and Carolina are such an awesome couple...you know I am crushing hard for Mack!! The spirituality of their union so made sense. It was so right for these two people and the Lord made it so....Just wonderful. The final scene...just got me...I totally melted. He was a REAL man....such a real man. One I wish for....The surprises were great throughout the book...bringing all the characters together...loved it! I don't think that there was anything that I didn't love! Let's not forget David....awe....such a sweet boy and the icing on an already scrumptious cake! I am going overboard but I want you to know how much I LOVED IT!!! Such a wonderful journey....thanks for the ride!

Passions pulsated, emotions exploded and humor had me hightailing it so I would not pee in my pants. Heavens, this book belongs on tv on a channel that is like explicit Lifetime with stand up comedy, I swear. I loved the linking of the characters and stories. MacKenzie...what a man! He is the kind of man whom men would not want to meet in a dark alley but being a woman, I would certainly BREAK MY NECK to jump him in a dark alley. David makes me want to be mother of the year. I felt him so deeply and he put such a different family feel on this erotic story. I had no idea I wanted this until you gave it to me and now I am dying for more like it. If this were baseball J and J, you would be playing every position on the field and I thank you for changing the game.
