This calendar features 13 photographs by author and photographer Jonathan Spira taken during a November 2005 trip by the author to Munich (München) Germany to pick up a new BMW 330xi at the BMW factory delivery center. Over 5 days, Spira covered 2426 km and four countries (Austria, Germany, Hungary, and Italy). He crossed international borders 22 times. Spira's photographs take you 1000 meters high in Berchtesgaden, across mountain passes, and into remote villages. Spira is co-author of the widely-acclaimed Aperture book History of Photography, named a Best Book of the Year by the New York Times. He is also author of Managing the Knowledge Workforce: Understanding the Information Revolution That's Changing the Business World. The calendar includes all U.S., German, and Austrian holidays, as well as many religious holy days.
