The book contains historical information. Six years of research. It has actual copies of the diaries of the soldiers , staying at Camp Buckner, in Pinevile,ky( known then as Cumberland Ford). I t has diaries of the soldiers who were camped at Cumberland Gap, Tenn. A newspaper article the day after the battle at Barboursville,Ky.
