D.C. is one of my favorite political cartoonists, because, as this book demonstrates, he uses great metaphors to help explain the absurdity of arguments, policy, Bush, etc. It is very uncommon to see this kind of wit, sarcasm, and satire anywhere these days, and perhaps that is why I read D.C.’s work.
This book also contains commentary on most if not all of the cartoons. What can I say; I am a sucker for commentary.
So, if you are a left-winger, buy this book. Buy it now. I’ll wait.
