Description:

"Coping very badly," is hardly an adequate description. What seems like an unexpected fantasy life is devoid of magic, elves, or giants, or even decent sanitation. There's an awful lot of death, however, and all of it directed at him - the one person least able to cope with it: The one person content to fulfil his life in futile, meaningless and introverted obscurity. Start a war, face the single, most powerful - and utterly evil - person in the Land, and acquire mind-bending skills along the way? And my reward is progressive death? Who...me? Mention the name of Aldameus Vuelen to his friends, let alone his enemies, and watch them cringe. There are monsters here - and most of them are human.

Paranoid??? me? [ No Rating ] 21 Jul 2006

A sometimes humorous, fantastic romp through the adventures of an average man, plucked out of his average job to perform extraordinary tasks.

Reminds me of when I used to question existance, with a "Is this really all there is?"

A jolly good read, looking forward to the next in the series. (Oh and I liked the short chapters, meant that I didn't have to stay up too late reading)

I liked both parts, it is a very interesting story. Lots of imagination, well written and good description and dialogue.
A better cover would be good.

Though science fiction is not my genre or anything like it, I rather enjoyed the preview which was well-written. Good Luck, Sir!
