"Good sax offense...Great effect on the vocals at the beginning...The chorus is great with all the voices - the lead vocalist should let go and belt out more it sounds great. This song really grew on me as it played!"--SundaySmith Brisbane, Queensland, Australia July 13th, 2008
"Elements! Nice clean mix! Everything fits into its own space, and nothing gets drowned out. The acoustic sounds full and the percussion ensemble is very tasteful. Nice sax solo! I normally hate the sax, so its rare to actually be able to enjoy it. Bravo! Extra Credit: Production."--CornerKid Atlanta, Georgia July 9th, 2008
"Keeps Listener held...This is one of the more original songs I've heard on Garageband. The arrangement is terrific.
Another strong point is the sax. Good stuff !! The entire piece of work sets a good tempo and mood from the start. Hats off to the songwriter!! The mood is set by the lyrics which are very decent. Can't say that about a lot of songs but this piece of music keeps the listener feeling what the idea being put out is. Very emotional. At 1:15, the backup vocals are great. Backup vocals are good throughout. 2:37 the sax is fantastic. Not an outstanding solo showing any versatility but matches what is playing and the mood perfectly!! Good idea...Overall, its rather good to listen to stuff that will do very well. I think in a live setting this would be very powerful. Good luck - I hope I have brought a few ideas to you. "Pretty good i guess? The way the vocals are phrased is really weird. The song progresses really strangely. I do like the singers voice...sounds like the singer from R.E.M. This is a very original track though. It's just very weird and confusing. The little guitar thing 2:22 is kind of weird. On the other hand the song is performed really well. The sax solos sound awesome and it definitely creates a different and creative mood."--Idontknow22 Simi Valley, California June 18th, 2008
"Hello...Nice mood at the beginning, The vox reminds me of the B-52s at times. The sax is a nice touch. Progressive Rock."--Rmusgrave1427 Scranton, Pennsylvania June 5th, 2008
"SONG ACHE (in a good way) For a moment i thought it was going to be a song on the Young Guns soundtrack but that cowboy moment gets corrected by an anguish-lined, male voice cleverly relating extreme heartbreak....after she's been gone for one day:)"--GryndRoddMuse Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa June 6th, 2008
Track of the Day on 19Jun2008 in Alternative Rock
"Not bad...Interesting from the beginning. Not a huge fan of the effects being used and the vocals are a little harsh and off a little. The chorus is interesting, the last thing I expected to hear in this song is the sax. Not really sure it fits the mood that you have going. You certainly have an original sound, but it will not appeal to everyone, but I guess that is why you have it in the alternative rock genre. I am not sure what to make of this song. It has its strong points and weaknesses, but overall not bad. Extra Credit: Mood."--Woody414141 Lexington, Kentucky June 5th, 2008
"Good Not Great...The song is definitely pleasing. The bass line is the immediate hook. The higher vocals sounded great on the chorus. The song is somewhat catchy (I can still hear it in my head)...It is a song that I would kinda enjoy in passing but wouldn't pick to play. There's potential in the sound, though. "Different...The style of this music is different, but i like it, I like the lead and backing vocals, I like the strange chord progressions also. And i definitely love the sax you don't hear that a lot in music anymore."--JCTFATT Smithfield, Utah May 8th, 2008
"Acoustic post-punk...Melodramatic acoustic guitar and voice are quite arresting, along with some odd sound effects in the background. The song builds to quite a catchy chorus (with good back-up vocals) but I don't think this is enhanced by the saxophone line. The sax works better where it weaves in and out of the song-structure, at counterpoint to rather than in competition with the vocals. Seems like a good song, sung with gusto and conviction. I think it would benefit from some revamping of the arrangement and production. Extra Credit: Guitars, Mood, Originality."--Stuartr Tromso, Norway April 24th, 2008
