"Uh huh! nice snare work...writing is very original guitars scream...keep it up, keep it up, keep it up, keep it up"--OSMR High Point, North Carolina August 21st, 2008
"Watch Out for Those Limos...I don't sympathize with Simon Cowell but I felt like I was wearing his face as I was listening to this song, with my lower jaw hanging slightly open, kinda stunned. Very unusual, unique take on country music...I would have called it a cross between Willie Nelson and ZZ Top. The lyrics are very simplistic and down to earth. Very wide use of sounds/instruments which seemed strange but kept it interesting in a comedy sort of way. All I can say is it's a good thing you got outta that Limo. The beat was very simplistic as well. Extra Credit: Originality."--Darinporter Provo, Utah July 14th, 2008
"A DRUID REVIEW...THIS IS A INTERESTING COUNTRY ROCK CROSSING BETWEEN THE DOORS AND STEVE EARL. THIS IS MORE AMERICANA THAN MAIN STREAM. I LOVE THE CHEESY WALKING PASS THE WALL MART LINE. THE DRUID. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums, Bass, Production, Lyrics, Melody, Mood, Originality, Best Feel Good Track."--StephenG June 5th, 2008
"Progressive southern country rock...This is certainly starting with a very minimalist experimental edge.
Maybe Captain Beefheart? It has a swampy feel to it especially when the harmonica enters. The vocal is bluesy and has a country rock twang to it. Would not be out of place in Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Allman Bros. Some nice blues rock guitar playing here! I'm assuming that the lyric tells a story...but I'd have to listen to it a few times before I worked it out. Overall...an interesting sound and style that...would sit well on a southern country rock station. Extra Credit: Mood."--SeanTimms Adelaide, South Australia, Australia May 22nd, 2008
"Progressive" rock? The intro leaves you in the hands of the artist... the beat is awkward, but in a good way. the vocals are good enough...Extra Credit: Lyrics, Melody."--CyCL3 Green Bay, Wisconsin May 22nd, 2008
"Harry Chapin...At first I thought the singer reminded me of Jim Morrison, but the lyrics were not the type Morrison would write. Then I thought, "this song reminds me of Harry Chapin"...I especially like the walk down in spots. Percussion was very good and fit the mood of the song. Guitar tone was excellent and the playing was right on the money! This sounded more country rock to me than progressive...Extra Credit: Guitars, Originality."--JamSessions Utica, New York May 14th, 2008
"Psychedelic Cowboy...I like the guitar coming out in psychedelic bursts. Bluesy base...Vocals reminiscent of Johnny Cash. Lyrics remind me of some laughable modern country lyrics (I'm just a ford pick up drivin man, I'm used to shopping at the Wal-mart, I wear this old stetson hat). But when contrasted with the mood of the song provide for an interesting exchange. You either have an identity crisis, or you know exactly what you want. Solid song."--Ckight Amherst, Massachusetts May 12th, 2008
"Interesting...Very solid recording quality and a good mix from the recording engineer make for pleasing tones in this song...Extra Credit: Bass, Production, Originality."--KillClouseau Tallahassee, Florida May 12th, 2008
"He could'a been a limo?' 1-ok--now this is so cool---a simple cymbal beat--a cool steady heavy guitar with occassional fills--and a very Zappa-esque vocalist--singing a whole lot of metaphors--it doesn't change too much--but no way in heck I'm anywhere near to bored--I'm captivated and hypnotized by the story , the vocalist and the contrast of simple and complex"--Levavaran Freeport, New York May 9th, 2008

"Emerson Lake and Palmer Goes Country...First let me say that I liked the storyline of the lyric about "hometown boy meets former high school love interest who has become a rich goldigger, only to turn down her invitation to drive off into the sunset with her in a limo". The story carried me through to the end of the song...The lyric belongs in the country genre, not prog rock. Vocally, the singer sounds like Greg Lake from ELP with a southern gentleman accent. The simple chord progression has some interesting bursts of licks throughout that keep things from getting too mundane. But really the lyric is this songs strong suit..."--Atticsymphony Concord, North Carolina May 5th, 2008
"It's all in the rhythm...Sounds like The Doors meets Johnny Cash. Interesting rhythm. Perfect example of "less is more". Listening to the lead, how does a guitarist show this much restraint. He comes in for a quick lead break then just hangs back and let's the vocal take over. It's a great song, So great I had to listen to it a couple of times. Simple yet powerful. The lead breaks lend a lot of feeling to it. Extra Credit: Guitars, Originality."--Joker4ever April 30th, 2008
"Nice Dudes...So I got a Lou Reedy vibe from the vocal delivery, though the voice isn't the same, and the lyrics are very Reedy. I gotta say, I wasn't on board at the start, but it caught on pretty fast. I LOVE the false rockin' starts. In general very good. Extra Credit: Drums, Lyrics, Originality."--Dynamo_fellow Kirkland, Washington May 4th, 2008
"The Doors and classic rock guitar licks...I really like the singer, he has a very unique sound. He almost sounds almost like a mix between Jim Morrison, David Bowie, and Johnny Cash! The lyrics are really cool. The raunchy guitar licks have a great effect of bringing out the lyrics and sound really classic rock. The bass is great at holding down the fort while the singer and guitarist take the spotlight. The lurking organ in the background meshes with the vocals to give off that Doors vibe. I like this song, it has a great mood, a very unique sound, and the guitarist can rip a mean lick. The one thing that would've helped this song is a more interesting percussion track...But otherwise, it was a cool song! Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Lyrics, Mood, Originality."--JKarner Madison, Wisconsin April 24th, 2008
"Showed up in a limo...Oh i LIKE STORIES...The band gets out of the vocalists way.which is a good plan for storytelling. Interesting story, but the band seems to be just as much of a spectator as the audience. The guitar was mood enhancing though...Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Lyrics, Originality."--PeacePerception San Antonio, Texas April 28th, 2008

Best Mood in Progressive Rock, week of 28Apr2008
"Frank Zappa Meets Rockibilly...The song has a vibe that reminds me of early 60s records with some post Hendrix guitar playing. This is the kind of thing I would associate with an early 60s horror or a Quentin Tarantino film, as it has a gaunt creepiness that is reminiscent of such cinematic fare. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Production, Mood, Originality."--Misanfopic Akron, Ohio April 26th, 2008
