"Cool Intro...This is a good example of a song with the Blues feeling. The lyrics support the lost love theme, quite common in the blues genre. I like to find a hook that expresses the hook/theme in a way that's different non-cliche'd so-to-speak. Much passion in the vocals. Timely, haunting sax solo, it has that Neil Young purity. Good luck on your musical journey!"--Stephengernhauser Beverly Hills, California August 25th, 2008

"Catchy...The vocals are tony yet listen-able like John Lennon. The swirl really develops when the Barry comes in. I would call this New age Jazz more than Blues. Though the concept is blues this song meanders in the jazz. I like it it reminds me of Costello and Burt Bacharach. The back up vocals are well executed. I feel the production is old school but I like that. Yup I like this track The beat creates a world of direction. Barry and drums who new. "Marvelous song, original and well played...Lovely clear vocals - tuneful and very effective. I can hear some Beatles and St. Peppers influences in the vocals, interesting chord progressions and swirling backing instruments and BV's. The Sax is a nice surprise and beautifully played. I love the way it ends the song up in the air. I thoroughly enjoyed this song, the lyrics, melody, production and the playing - excellent work! "...Engaging...Its hard to define, but I'll try. Just allot of things are going on here. This is not quite blues, but has a Beatlesque feel to it."--Peterbadgely Holliston, Massachusetts August 18th, 2008
"Slow...it's nice and slow. I like the composition. it's put together nicely. The sax sounds great. Extra Credit: Drums, Programming, Mood, Originality, Most Bitter Breakup Song."--RunningThoughts Brooklyn, New York August 1st, 2008
"Progg...The beginning was interesting because you actually didn't know what was coming. The chord progression is really nice and the melody also. The singer is very special, wouldn't call him a great singer but for this music he's perfect. The sax is absolutely beautiful and it adds that little extra for the song that it also needs. Extra Credit: Melody, Originality."--Da_qwerty Tammisaari, Finland July 26th, 2008
"Eccentricity...Odd chord progressions in an original and eccentric song production here. Because of its quirkiness, I like it. Could almost be a character singing from a rock musical...Nice sax interlude...Perhaps some additional lyrics in the verse would make it sound more refined or defined...That is my critique. Worth stellar lyrics...Its loopiness works with the eccentric vocals....Good! Extra Credit: Originality."--RichardFilaccio Yreka, California July 20th, 2008
"Changed the locks...Percussion intro with high hat.
Guitar using standard bar chords...She was gonna find herself. This is the 1960's hippy music, but it has a sax. It's sad, she left, darn it. Just changed the locks, great! I would board up the windows and dig a tiger trap at the back door. Sounds a little like Sonny Bono after Cher left. "Some really nice ideas...nice vocals! sounds a little like Weller in parts which isn't bad at all!! love it when the vocal harmony parts kick in, really brings the track together. The sax is a nice addition to the song too."--Darren_Jones June 27th, 2008
"Review...Radiohead chord progression on happy lyrics. Interesting combination. I am thinking of Lennon because of the vocal texture. Of course all British accents sound the same to me! I can hear the thought put into the vocal melody and where the notes should go. Keep Rocking! Extra Credit: Melody."--LeeTrawick Frisco, Texas June 25th, 2008
"Interesting...Very original sounding. The vocals are ok, they are sort of pitchy in the chorus, but i do enjoy the back up vocals. I love the saxophone it really sets the mood to the song. Good Job! Extra Credit: Melody."--Jwiley_27 Mountain Home, Arkansas June 17th, 2008
"Bass a little boomy...Interesting beats right off the bat... The vocals were nice, and easy to hear. The guitars mixed really well with the vocals, and they didn't step on each other. The saxophone has a great tone to it. Overall, nice job!"--BrynnaCC Panorama City, California June 6th, 2008
"...initial drum Charlestons are too loud compared to the rest, but I love the guitar work and the vocals too it all kinda sounds like a male version of the Throwing Muses...hehehe!kinda! queer and pleasant!"--RapidHype Italy, Italy June 5th, 2008
Best Lyrics in Jazz, week of 12May2008
"Full sound...The band plays together well, and the background vocals scape and break the, until then, pretty rigid rhythm. The saxophone does well to lighten the mood of the song. It's got a "devil-may-care" attitude in it's solo that both matches and matures the song's mood. The lyrics were a bit too blunt for my taste, but that's just a matter of preference, I suppose. This was a short, sweet, and smooth track. Not bad at all. Keep it up, and good luck. Extra Credit: Beat, Mood."--Fiftyways Augusta, Georgia May 8th, 2008
"Robert Wyatt style...I'm sure I've reviewed you before ,its very Canterbury sound stuff you are doing like Caravan, soft machine Matching Mole. I like your sound it has an honesty to it."--Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Lyrics, Mood."--ONEINCHPUNCH Dover, Kent, United Kingdom May 6th, 2008

Awards! Track of the Day on 23Apr2008 in Jazz
Best Production in Jazz, week of 28Apr2008
Most Original in Jazz, week of 28Apr2008
"Vocals put on the very foreground...Starts with a special drum rhythm. Then vocals start, put on the very foreground, a characteristic voice. I like the move of the guitars, accords flow around in a original way. The sound is full, there is a clear theme in it. The manipulated background choir is fantastic, followed by a solo saxophone. This all gets repeated one time more and ends with the saxophone.
There is a very good balance in the song. I like the lead vocals and especially the way it is put on the foreground (louder then the rest). Everything is very clear in this (theme) and the saxophone gives another move in it. So I just like this.
