Because his aunt worked in publicity at Monogram and his uncle was a script supervisor, as a youngster Steve lived an idyllic B-western life we all as kids only dreamed about – being allowed on various sets and getting to meet the stars in their heyday. Now Steve vividly recalls those memories relating wonderful anecdotes about Johnny Mack Brown, Marshall Reed, Ken Maynard, Crash Corrigan, Andy Devine, guy Madison, Dick Jones, Jimmy Hawkins, Roy Rogers, Richard Boone, Gene Barry, John Russell, Sam Peckinpah, Jim Davis, and so many more.
