Description:

The second of a series of 4 volumes, listing all satellites currently in orbit and those which have previously orbited the Earth. All large object which have been issued with a space object number (whether a payload, platform, rocket or debris) are listed. The catalogue is correct at the time of publication (March 2008) but will soon become dated as more spacecraft are launched - whilst others decay or are destroyed. The volumes are intended mainly as reference manuals for Visual Satellite Observation enthusiasts and are NOT intended for the general public.
