Description:“Heat is something I never seem able to escape. It’s not just about climate. Heat comes in many forms and follows me wherever I go, or maybe the truth is that I’m drawn to it like the proverbial moth to a flame. Like in this small town on the east coast of Florida. Nighttime in Port Selerno is as hot as if it were midday. If you frequent some of the places I do, it can get even hotter.” Listed in: |

I loved this book. Had trouble putting it down. Very swift read, the characters took me on an amazing journey. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen.... Peckerwood Twist is packed with action, mystery and intrigue. An excellent yarn, and what a surprise on Nathan Lichwar’s first time out.

I was fortunate enough to have the author read chapter one to a group of us while in NY one weekend. It was so captivating that I had to buy the book. I look forward to reading it right away. I was really intrigued once I read the other reviews. I'm pleased to hear that there are more epic tales on the way.

Wow! What a page turner. I could NOT put Peckerwood Twist down. Read it straight through--five hours of real adventure with wonderful humor in surprising places. The author knows both Port Salerno (been there) and Peru. I can hardly wait for Sam Paris' next adventure. -- Bob Delaney

Mr. Lichtwar kept my head spinning - right to the unexpected end. His Sam Paris has more escapes than Houdini and keeps you guessing as to what will happen next. I wait, with anticipation for the sequel, which I do hope is in the making.
