When her heroic actions land her face on the front page of the Wainscott Gazette, she thinks her life is over, and it is, at least her life as an ordinary anyway. Overnight she is plucked from the ordinaries and plopped into the “in crowd.” At first Kate is in denial of her status change, but then she likes it, that is until she’s labeled a snob, her locker gets trashed and one other minor thing-- she’s being stalked. My daughter & I both read Ordinary Me by June Sproat & just loved it. It was beautifully written and very enjoyable. This is the type of book that can be read by people from ages 10-60. We both read it in one night--couldn't put it down! We are looking forward to June's next book with great anticipation!

June Sproat's fresh, unique voice shines through in her debut book, Ordinary Me. I'm way past being a young adult, yet I immediately bonded with the main character. I couldn't stop reading the book once I'd started. I highly recommend this book for all ages. I'm eagerly anticipating a new novel from this talented author.
